On the latest build, clicking the A B C D buttons seems to have no affect, except for changing the colors of various UI elements (which is cool BTW, I like the colors!)
Watching the terminal output, it does seem to be occasionally switching banks (which is apparent only when loading a sample) but the behavior is inconsistent, and the UI makes it appear that samples are being loaded into all 4 banks simultaneously
To the best I can tell, it appears actually that clicking A B C D to change banks does actually change which bank new samples get loaded on to, but it does not affect which bank is being played back by the triggers
This is probably confusing, I apologize =)

Yes - this is a decision to try release 2.0 sooner - one bank. The code for 4 banks remains, just untested and hence de-activated. I'll add to the 2.1 milestone.
