Just did a completely fresh install and get this error (even with 'hello world'). Is it possible this version of OF doesn't match the latest Raspberian?

Does openFrameworks compile?

Yes. Everything seemed to go really well until I tried the examples.

I don't have the latest Raspbian but I just tested it with OF 0.8.3 and HelloWorld still works. You went through the steps here?

The install_dependencies.sh step should have installed the library you are missing

Great. I'll give it a try. Many thanks for the help!
