Black Screen Streaming to Icecast

Hi,

I have observer version 4 installed on Server A and obplayer version 5 installed on Server B. I wrote a script to install obplayer5 and the required dependencies because I'll eventually require lots of players on different VMs.

I'm able to stream audio without issue, however video streams only display a black screen while the audio plays. I've tried different types of video formats. The following is the debug log output from the player. Please let me know if I missed something, or if you have any suggestions.

Showing something playing. Have you tried the obvious and Enable Video Output? Adjusted any of the settings that come up? Does it give you the option to set aspect ratio? Might have to reboot machine when changing video modes? Are you running headless or is it installed on a desktop?

It's installed on a virtual machine and it's running in headless mode. I'm starting obplayer with this command obplayer_loop -d -r -H.

Yes, I tried rebooting the server after updating the settings.

My focus has been on the streaming tab since I'm not looking to play the videos locally, I only want them streamed to icecast. This is working for audio with the current settings.

If you run the player with the -H option, it will completely disable the video subsystem, ignoring the enable video option in the dashboard. Remove this flag from the command line.
