Also getting this on Ubuntu 20.04.

I found this issue in the gstreamer-python-player repo and found that if I replace all of the instances of

self.pipeline = Gst.Pipeline(name)

to

self.pipeline = Gst.Pipeline.new(name)

... then it resolves the issue.
