Hi Community,
I am working with the mgpipe function from the Microbiome Modeling Toolbox utilizing the AGORA2 dataset. I noticed that some names listed in the species level column in AGORA2_infoFile.xlsx are in fact strain—and not species—names. Some examples include Acidaminococcus sp. BV3L6 and Bacteroidales nov. ERR2221200. In these examples, the species names should be Acidaminococcus sp. and Bacteroidales nov. I wonder if these are errors in the file or there has been a specific reason for including strain names in the species column.
Thanks a lot!

Best regards,
