Czech names of contract types

Where do the Czech translations of contract types (RFQ, ITT, RFP) come from?
Namely, the contract authorities contacted are unaware of those types and see "Druh zakázky" as misleading terms (as this should rather be "Služby", "Dodávky" etc.).
It seems that the only difference is that RFP generates an additional form section: that for evaluation criteria.

The translations come from http://www.linguee.cz/ , as I did not find any better means of translation. I also did not trace any parallel to these contract types (RFQ...) in the czech law no. 137/2006 (o veřejných zakázkách). Do we even have a similar concept in Czech republic? If so, @jindrichmynarz or @propi , could you provide a reliable source to help understand what is the key difference between RFQ, ITT and RFP (each source I find gives a bit different definition), and possibly determine their correct czech translation?

I haven't seen these terms used in Czech nor in TED data. I suspect they come from the original use case of PC Filing App, which was in the context of public procurement of United Nations. I'd say they may be irrelevant in Czech or EU context, so we may end up removing this distinction.

However, it seems, there's quite a number of explanations of the differences between them. Simple Google search returns 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Nevertheless, I think the question wasn't primarily about translating RFQ, ITT, and RFP, but about changing the label of this concept as it is too similar to "contract kinds".

Changed the label in question in 3de7642 . Is "Typ zakázky" better than "Druh zakázky"?

Or perhaps, "Typ výzvy" would be better?

Personally I would be for "Typ výzvy". I actually wonder if the list of options could be at least partly aligned with "Předběžné oznámení o zakázce" and "Oznámení o zakázce", as the latter is indeed likely to be more detailed (i.e. contain the evaluation criteria). Although we will surely not match the Czech legal framework anyway...

I guess this is a question more suitable for domain experts. I actually don't think that there's a Czech alignment of these terms. Aligning them with the types of public notices would be misleading.

I propose to either leave this as is or remove the distinction completely, since the application no longer targets the context of UN procurement.
