Problem

  • Some producers have data in Excel files with columns like:

Légume 1 Origine 1 % (ingrédient) Légume 2 Origine 2 % (ingrédient) Légume 3 Origine 3 % (ingrédient)

The Eco-Score Excel template also has similar columns.

Solution

  • Support the import of those files.
  • The ingredient properties extracted could be stored as-is, and then added to the existing specific_ingredients structure that already has similar data extracted from labels and the end of ingredients list

Hi guys, any idea of when this issue will be resolved please? It's preventing org-bonduelle to import their data

This issue has been open 90 days with no activity. Can you give it a little love by linking it to a parent issue, adding relevant labels and projets, creating a mockup if applicable, adding code pointers from https://github.com/openfoodfacts/openfoodfacts-server/blob/main/.github/labeler.yml, giving it a priority, editing the original issue to have a more comprehensive description… Thank you very much for your contribution to 🍊 Open Food Facts
