Sensor/Host depth

• Need a depth reference point : relatedObs VS specific dataType
• VS elevation from the bottom (ex : some German activity on Lakes)
• River-height (depth) could be a relatedObservation
• Host should have elevation, options for encoding:
  • 3D Geometry (hard to parse and encode in STA)
  • Elevation attribute
  • relatedObservation providing the elevation as result

• Depth info required at WQ_Sampling, SpatialSample & MaterialSample

• Especially for GroundWater : We need a reference point to point back at to express depth

  • Modelling option : create a sub-Host

TODO Sylvain : add WQ_Sampling and WQ_SpatialSample (as a subtype of FOI like MaterialSample) also for “WQ_InSitu-STAPI” (to be coherent with DO_pH_Observation)
