To prevent the creation of irrelevant or non-applicable public channels on the Open Mainframe Project Slack workspace, it may be necessary to revise the rules or guidelines concerning creating public Slack channels.

If I may add my $0.01 (not sure it's worth $0.02) to this:

  1. All channels should be approved by someone with authority
  2. All channels must be related to an OMP activity or purpose
  3. All channels reflect upon the OMP so they need to advance the mission of OMP
