We overhauled the OpenSearch API Spec repo early 2024. The OpenSearch specification is now more complete and accurate, which has allowed us to automatically generate the API implementations of several clients, and gradually filing OpenSearch documentation with components generated from the spec. This has greatly improve the consistency across many repos, especially for clients, and documentation.
