It is likely that opensolid/scene will be a relatively focused/constrained scene graph package, not flexible enough for a lot of applications like games or complex visualizations. It may be useful to try to split the generic Frame3d-based transformation functionality into a lower-level scene graph package which could then be used by opensolid/scene but potentially other packages as well (who want to use different shaders etc.).
