Move mailing list to google groups #4
Comments
It currently resides on Flocknote: https://new.flocknote.com/oscatholic But it would probably make more sense to use a tool like Google Groups. I'm a bit ambivalent about mailing lists anyways, but I see the value and whatever solution is chosen should be as open as possible and really simple to maintain (e.g. we're definitely not self-hosting, ever :P). |
To expand my thinking here a bit more: mailing lists provide a great low-maintinance/low-distraction way to push requests to the group as opposed to Slack/Forums which require users to visit the site (in most cases) to get updates. I think it makes sense for a relatively low-volume group like this. I'll look into setting up a google groups for this and add you as an admin
Agreed! |
Created the google group: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/open-source-catholic Once you join I can make you an admin as well. |
Thanks! Just joined. |
Great! Just made you an owner.
