Background
Related to #21 issue.

Topic
Cochrane database has a field status (text) on Trial entity.
Example values:

  • Closed
  • Stopped early
  • Open/Ongoing
  • ...

This is really important, and we need to standardise. How many variants to cochrane have?

I'm happy in this case if our conversion is "lossy" and we are able to settle on a list of states:

  • closed
  • aborted
  • open
  • ?? other states ??

Cochrane has only:

  • ""
  • "Closed"
  • "Stopped early"
  • "Planned"
  • "Open/Ongoing"

I wonder what "" is supposed to mean. We could have a choice called "undefined" or something.

Looks like no data (it's an empy string) - NULL, "undefined" for us etc
