[problem symptom]
Audio Receive (Camera ---> Client) continues to operate normally, but Audio Transmit (Client ---> Camera) seems to malfunction.
AudioTransmitStart() behavior is not normal.

The program I implemented malfunctioned, so I tested it with the sample program.
(C:\Program Files\AXIS Communications\AXIS Media Control SDK64\samples\Visual C#\Audio)
I have the same symptoms.

I wrote the code as below to make it work.

When I start the program
AudioReceive continues to work (sound is heard from the PC speaker).
AudioTransmit operates for a certain period of time and then there is no sound. (No sound is heard from the camera speaker.)
Normal operation time is irregular.

Sometimes there is sound and sometimes not.
I can hear it, but sometimes it's distorted.
There are times when I can't hear it and suddenly hear it.
A 'tik' sound comes from the speaker just before the sound.

When there is no sound, call AMC.AudioTransmitStop() ---> AMC.AudioTransmitStart() to hear sound for a certain period of time.
Or
When I use AMC.AudioTransmitMute = true; ---> AMC.AudioTransmitMute = false; , it works again.

AMC_STATUS_FLAG_TRANSMIT_AUDIO is set to 1 even when there is no sound from the speaker.

Symptoms are as above.

2. Can AudioTransmit be continued in a one-to-one relationship between the camera and the client PC? Or should I turn it on only when talking like a walkie-talkie and turn it off when not talking?

4. If there are multiple microphones on the PC, can I not select them??

5. In some cases, sound is heard from the speaker, but sometimes it is broken. Do I need to set the sample rate, bit depth, channel (mono, stereo), etc.?

6. Right now I'm checking to see if I can actually hear it right next to the camera. Is there a way to remotely check if the sound is coming out of the speakers connected to the AXIS V5938 in a physical distance away?

can you try different OS version 10.12.182 - AXIS OS LTS 2022?

The PC and PC microphone combinations are shown below.
① Lenovo notebook T470, Win10, built-in microphone
② Desktop, Win10, USB microphone attached to webcam
③ Desktop, Win10, conference microphone line input

The test results are shown below.
②,③ worked normally.
① did not operate normally.

However, I did discover one thing.
If you press the microphone button of Axis Camera Station Client immediately after operating the recording using the "Voice Recorder" program built into Windows 10, ① also worked.

It seems that the operation is determined by the internal settings for the input of the PC microphone.

one question to your test, are you running ACS client on 3 different PC? are these 3 PC connected to same ACS server?

it's better to separte the test to 2 part:

1. test bidirectional audio with AMC SDK to V5938 and result. --can't work as expected
2. test bidirectional audio with ACS to V5938 and result. - work on some PC, but on PC can't work

I have only one camera.(V5938)

then I run the audio sample under AMC, set both receive and transmit to ON,

it works well in one hour test, from PC can hear the sound of V5938, also in v5938 sound out can hear the sound from PC.
