Writing metadata to the Analytics Stream #345
-
Hello, I am making an analytics application using acap native SDK 4. After going through the examples and understanding the different components that I need to stitch together, I am stuck on how to integrate my generated data into the analytics stream. Is there something that I need to do with Axevents API? Can it write data to the analytics stream? If yes, what parameters do I pass? Is there an alternative way of sending such data? Thank you for your time. |

This automatically generated reply acts as a friendly reminder. Answers to your questions will most often come from the community, from developers like yourself. You will, from time to time, find that Axis employees answers some of the questions, but this is not a guarantee. Think of the discussion forum as a complement to other support channels, not a replacement to any of them. If your question remains unanswered for a period of time, please revisit it to see whether it can be improved by following the guidelines listed in Axis support guidelines. |

Not too sure about which kind of medadata, if it is some result such as license plate number/OCR/value/postion/object type/event triggered, you can use the axevent, then you should be able to view the result via Axis metadata monitor. if you want to add metadata to overlay, so in the live rtsp stream you can still view the track or object, you can use Axoverlay API. |

See example send_event.c, this example is using tns1 name space for ONVIF. And ax_event_property_state_declaration_example.c, is using tnsaxis name space for axis own VAPIX. |
