[AXIS Q1961-TE Thermal Camera] Add "max temperature" variable to MQTT publish message with Temperature Detection function Event rule? #413
-
Hi, As shown in the diagram below. I was able to successfully configure a MQTT publishing feature based on a Temperature Detection Event on an AXIS Q1961-TE Thermal Camera. However, it appears that the camera's web UI only supports preset / prepared text to publish when events occur. Does AXIS support some "variables" that may be added to the MQTT payload and subsequently sent to provide runtime temperature, event triggering condition / causes, and so on? If not, from which API can I obtain runtime events and this information? Thanks. |

Hi @josh-wiseot ,
I don't have an AXIS Q1961-TE Thermal Camera with me but I tried your scenario with another camera and found that it is not possible to change the payload but you can always create a custom Topic name. Hope this helps you.
