VAPIX access for ACAP Applications #434
-
Hello! I am trying to get VAPIX service account credentials in runtime using the documentation listed here: https://axiscommunications.github.io/acap-documentation/docs/develop/VAPIX-access-for-ACAP-applications.html I have followed the documentation setting up the manifest.json file and have implemented a DBus call to the specified endpoint. When I look at the log of my ACAP application I receive the following error: I also tried to ssh into the camera and run the command at the bottom of the link i provided. When doing this, I get the following error returned: gdbus call --system \
Error: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name com.axis.HTTPConf1 was not provided by any .service files I feel like these errors are related and that I am unable to reach the specified service. Am I missing something? or is there an example code to accomplish what I'm trying to do? |

Hi @CaseyGross1 , I have tested the same with Test from command-line instructions successfully: gdbus call --system --dest com.axis.HTTPConf1 --object-path /com/axis/Http
Conf1/Auth --method com.axis.HTTPConf1.Auth1.GetVapixServiceAccountCredentials "testvivek"
curl -s -u 'a0-testvivek:rtcTjUcOE4uQNFJ5Ilfd8U2H62iHiTUc' http://127.0.0.
