Export recording API problem (incorrect video length / failed to export recording)

1. incorrect video length

We are facing the issue that sometimes export recording API does not return the actual video length. By sepicifying start and end time with 2 minutes 30 seconds , the camera returned 4 minutes video. Is there any reason?

2. video download failed

Our program try to export video via export recording API but it failed. Any troubleshoot for the problem?

Here is our API request datetime, not sure will this affect the export recording feature.

I understand that both "start time" and "end time" are optional. In case, you pass the values in the wrong format it may not be used.

The following worked for me (not to forget the URL encoding of the parameters):

Hi. The issue that video length doesn't match the requested start and stop time not always occurs. Our program in edge device exports video every day for more than a year. And most of the cases can export the exact video length. We found this video length issue less than 10 times.

Sometimes when we requested a video from 2023-11-07T08:30:41.593Z to 2023-11-07T08:33:12.520Z , we received a video lasts for 1:39. And sometiems when we requested a video with 2 minutes, we received a video lasts for 4 minutes.

You can view the camera server report using AXIS Server Report Viewer for errors.

Try to upgrade to 11.6.94 and above as mentioned in release note:

Currently my camera P3268-LVE with firmware version 10.10.73. However, I tried to do a firmware upgrade for several times but still failed. Any suggestion?

For the release note, I am not sure about the meaning of the limitations. Do you have any idea?

You may need to restore the camera to the previous firmware using the rollback feature:

Once successful move to Active track firmware:

Export recording includes up to but excludes the stoptime parameter.
As per my understanding, this may be the root cause of the difference in time interval for the exported video because it is not considering the stoptime provided in API.

Not so clear😉. I will try to find more details about this.
