Overlay text via param.cgi onto Image #742
-
I've got an old M3005 so have to use param.cgi to update the Overlay Text - that works fine for the live Video stream, but I want to be able to have the same text (external temperature info, updated every 15 minutes) displayed on the captured image in an Action Event (Send Image). Even using #D in the text stream, the sent image only contains the text as at last boot or last event modification. Is there a way to update the Overlay Text on an Image with dynamic data? |

Thank you for that. The dynamicoverlay.cgi seems to be working. For anyone else looking, this (part of a) script worked
$Inside and $Outside variables set earlier in the script. |

HI @GSVNoFixedabode ,
I am not sure if this API is available for AXIS M3005-V Network Camera (Latest: Axis OS Version 5.51.7.6)
You can try the Dynamic text overlay API for that.
