This automatically generated reply acts as a friendly reminder. Answers to your questions will most often come from the community, from developers like yourself. You will, from time to time, find that Axis employees answers some of the questions, but this is not a guarantee. Think of the discussion forum as a complement to other support channels, not a replacement to any of them. If your question remains unanswered for a period of time, please revisit it to see whether it can be improved by following the guidelines listed in Axis support guidelines. |

Hi @Giganesh1 , As far as I understand, Axis has no VAPIX PTZ APIs available for Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) data. |

Hi,
I've been tasked with obtaining Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) information relative to gravity using the camera's API. Currently, I can only access PTZ values based on the camera's internal readings, which do not account for the camera's orientation in space.
Could you please guide me on how to utilize the in-built IMU to get accurate orientation readings and adjust my PTZ values accordingly?
Thank you!
