How many times you’ve heard someone saying “If you’re getting started in Open Source, good-first issues are the best fit to get started with”? While this can be true for some projects, this is not always the correct way to get started. What is the talk about?

• How does it feel to be an OS Maintainer?
  Here we will discuss some of the challenges that maintainer faces in their daily life.

• What is the significant difference between an author and a contributor?
  In our discussion, we will explore the perspectives of OS contributors and maintainers while contributing to a project. It's not the same as doing voluntary work in a park and being the park keeper.
