@Himanshi-m It's okay sometimes it does take some time to get response from people. You can checkout the list of PA (project admins) and try connecting with the PA if not through Github then maybe through LinkedIn or Discord. Refer this: Else @sanjay-kv is there to help us always!! |

Hi, I am directly linking the issue itself. The person who the issue was not assigned to has opened a PR and received some improvement feedback on it from PA and the issue I raised has been marked as closed. Now, this could be an accident on either of their sides and I do not mind if their PR is merged. I just think it is unfair when GSSOC rules clearly mentions the person whom the issue is assigned to is supposed to work on it. This can be demotivating for me to work on it as well as now I'm unsure whether to continue this or just move on to a different project. Kindly look into it and reach out to the necessary people, i just want to ensure this mistake doesn't happen to future contributors in this repository as it is quite active. Thanks in advance! |

Yes, first they asked for photos of all the changes I made and then asked me to make a pull request. And now they are saying that we don't need to make any changes. Yes I am assigned to that issue first |

I worked on the project CabRental, he assigned me tags but the tags are not the right one. There's another one with the name WorkSync Please look into these matter. We are getting discouraged due to their such irresponsible behaviours |

@aditya-bhaumik This complaint wasn't even for you. It was for the mentor who initially assigned me the issue and then closed my pr, stating that it was already completed. After waiting for a day for her to respond, I had to complain. Anyways, i have created an empty PR. Thanks! |

Hi @tarunkumar2005, Just take a look at the number of issues and PRs open here from other contributors. your PR might gone unseen
Here are the 2 PRs you made in this repo:
I saw your PR, which was made 5 days ago, but you didn’t tag or remind the PA daily on the PR, so your notification likely went unnoticed. For the other PR, there was a deployment failure, and the PA mentioned that they couldn't merge it and requested changes. You closed that PR 2 days ago, but you haven't created a new PR since.
For deployment failures:
In open source, these things happen as part of the learning process. I’ve seen your profile, and you’re working really well and consistently. Just make sure not to let these setbacks stop you. Always try to create PRs without deployment errors, and make sure to tag your PA and the collaborating mentors of the project. Keep reminding them daily, as your notifications might go unnoticed with this much traffic. |

@MastanSayyad I know this was my 5th or so PR i didn't had that much experience so i by mistake solved 2 issues in same PR and with time it got conflicts too because there was stack of PR left before mine which were merged later and errors arrised in that point so the the repo became a mess i forked due to this i will try to solve it and create a new PR but i think you are inactive for some time that's why you have so many PR and in hecktic you are not properly checking the code also i mentioned this in the PR so it created a problem for the other contributors as the code was not properly written then we need to find the error from where it is coming so this was one thing i want you to address and one more i would say try to get help and clear your PRs otherwise it will create problems for next PRs too as their code is not updated and if you go sequencially then it will raise conflicts and error in the next PRs which were submited. I will find a solution and create new PR for the mess i made in same branch. |

I am the Program Manager of GSSoC Extended, not a Project Admin for the specific project you are referring to. I have reviewed the entire project and your PR along with all the code and trust me I give proper time to review everything so that nothing goes un-noticed. It's great that you’re proactive about finding a solution and creating a new PR to address the issues. it’s important to keep your PRs focused on being errorfree I mentioned the steps to resolve deployment failures, and please remember not to push package.json and package-lock.json as they contain multiple new dependencies with significant changes. This might cause issues with Vercel deployment configurations

@MastanSayyad But when i don't include these the PA says that you need to add the dependency in package.json so that we can install directly by npm i not by manually installing it that's why |

Regarding Vercel deployment it's important to ensure that your If your deployment fails, it could be due to a few reasons:
Always test your changes locally by running the build command (I mentioned above). If it works locally, it’s more likely to work on Vercel as well. and if build failed then deployment will also fail to avoid this I recommend not to push |

I made this issue 5 days ago and made a PR on the same day. Then for 3 days he was non-responsive . I thought the rule to reassign the issues if the contributor does not commit within 3 days was to let a contributor work as per their limit. It is really bothering me now I wasted 5 days on a single issue and he is not assigning me any other issues also.

Hey i changed the old ui to new ui and now when i requested for the pull requests it showing cross sign as in new ui logos are same but with little change rest is same how to fix that or can my pa will accept it what to do it took 3 days to design new this problem came |
