are points awarded for creating PRs or after they are merged ?

does creating a PR with gssoc-ext label is enough to get points on leaderboard or is it after the created PR is merged with the main branch ??
I have created a few PRs and have raised issues but there's very less response to both of them .
please clarify this doubt and update my score on leaderboard if its enough to create a PR.

No not only gssoc-ext but you need to have level1 or level2 or level3 labels so that you will get points @iamsaura8h
ask you PA to add labels to both issues and pr's .
Can you mention in which project there is less response
