Palm Up settings relaxed criteria

Hello,
My users are complaining about the hand menu to be difficult to show up. They wanted it to appear while it was not appearing. So it seems that it had to be very close and also nice and straight before it appears

I am using the same settings that MRTK is using in the Template, which are the following:

If you have to relax the palm up criteria, what could be a good set of settings?
