Questions about the database files eots.db & finality-provider.db in case of disaster recovery

Does it need to be regularly backed up in order to be restored?
Is there a proper way to recover them? (eg. to avoid double signing slashing penalties)
Or is it auto recreated if restarting the node from scratch (importing the same keys)?

You can recover by importing the same keys, it is ideal to have the .db files

one note, eotsd use master keys to derive the key pairs
