[Review]: "Viewed" checkbox no longer visible after scrolling to bottom

AFAIK the "viewed" checkbox used to be visible for the file even when you scrolled down. That way I could read the file top to bottom, check it and move on but it's no longer the case?

Or at least add the checkbox to the bottom as well as discussed here

Please consider being conservative with UI and UX changes like this as it impedes productivity a lot. Thank you.
