I think the best thing you can do is to install an obsidian plugin to convert wikilinks to normal GitHub links, such as Hope this helps! |

This is still a good idea. Makes for much cleaner and flexible approach to documentation references |

I think it would be great to support Wikilinks. Markdown plugin for VSCode supports it, Obsidian supports it... so I would assume Github should too. |

Wikilinks are a great way of linking other pages to pages. Recently I have been making a wiki about tech using obsidian and put it on github so other people can add to it.
https://github.com/Obsidian-tech-wiki/obsidian_tech_wik
If you have a look at some of the pages in there wiki folder you will see that all the pages have links like [[this]].
It would be great if when you click on it github will take you to that page or show a darker blue if it doesn't exist in the repo.
There are many modules that allows you to turn wikilinks into html like this: https://python-markdown.github.io/extensions/wikilinks/
