I made sure the files are saved in UTF-8 in Sublime Editor.. I dont think the problem is the character encoding as the characters and symbols now display correctly and the byte stream error has gone. The Kindly help. |

Actual behaviour
I migrated from one vps to another. Backup website and database, successfully restored database and website, then upgrated 2 minor releases.
Everything works fine as it appears, with files/screenshots loading fine and comments/text showing fine.
The problem is when editing comments or text... Instead of showing the text I can edit, it just says
undefined
.In firefox browser console, I get this message:
The byte stream was erroneous according to the character encoding that was declared. The character encoding declaration may be incorrect.
After reading online, I checked the template/layout file and it showed the
meta
tag asutf-8
.My database table structure is:
Expected behaviour
When the task description or comment is in 'edit' form/mode, the contents should display... instead of
undefined
Steps to reproduce
Click on 'edit' for task description or comment. The box says
undefined
yet in view mode, the comment exists.Screenshots
