I have a setup where my "active projects" board (@action) contain things I'm actually working on rather than simply planning/clarifying. The left-hand column holds the master project, and I list individual actions as subtasks beneath. When I want to make a subtask the next action, I promote it to its own task then push it to the next action column. My dashboard is filtered to only show items in that next action column to prevent overwhelm.
When I do this process, I used to get an internal link between the new/promoted task and it's parent. I just discovered today it's no longer happening- there is no internal link between items anymore.
I haven't updated recently - running in Docker and keep fairly up to date. I use some plugins, but only a few and I don't think any modify this behavior (I cannot find anything relevant for those plugins used nor anything in the directory regarding internal links/relations). I have multiple internal link labels - and cannot be exactly sure if I touched the parent/child one recently but I did in the past rename it to action of/project of to match the mental model. I know I recently changed the milestone one a couple of days ago but that should have no effect.
The only automatic action I have is to close out tasks in the done column- nothing about links. I see no available actions to configure regarding internal links which makes me suspect that the parent/child relationship is hard-coded. Did my renaming the label break this functionality?
