Hi all,

I wanted to let you know that we're going to be switching off the MDN meta pages soon. The idea behind these pages was to have a meta site where we document how to... document MDN. Over time, we've decided it's better to have this information centralized in the same place as our existing docs. This will make the information more uniform from a reader perspective, and will make everything easier for all of us to maintain.

We already have some great Community and Writing pages and so we'll be focusing on migrating the information from the meta site to these pages, revisiting and refreshing the information as we go and to a further extent after we've migrated everything.

Hi all, the meta docs site PR has now been merged:

• Remove meta site content#20775

What's changed:

• We now have a redirect from the old meta site
  • FROM https://mdn-contributor-docs.mozilla.org/
  • TO https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/MDN
• The Netlify project for the old site is now disconnected from GitHub so there are fewer checks on pull requests.

How to update:
Updating from mdn/main should be a simple pull, so nothing painful to keep forks in sync.
