12013 Radar Sensor Issue

I recently built a basic 4361 kit, and also installed a 12013 Radar Sensor. I cannot get the detector to work in the iOS app. From what I understand, you enable the detection sensor, monitor GPIO pin 21, with trigger type high, minimum time between detection broadcasts set to 10 seconds and state broadcast interval set to never. Whatever I do the radar detector will not send motion detection messages. Also when i my device while its Bluetooth connected under nodes, the detection sensor log is still greyed out, even though the detection sensor is enabled in settings. I am unsure why I cant get this to work, and there seems to be very little documentation on using the radar sensor in meshtastic.

It lo longer works on the public channel, you need to use a private channel

Thank you for this info. How can I configure the detection sensor to send a message on the private channel I created?

Needs to be the primary channel, everything broadcast happens on the primary channel

Thank you again for the help. Now that I look I believe you posted the original thread I saw saying pin 21 was the one to monitor. I made my primary channel private, and I'm still not getting anything from the sensor. I've attached screenshots of settings for the primary channel and detection sensor.
