20-post limit and not loading old entries (free trial)

I just started a free trial for miniflux's hosting service. After loading my OPML file, I notice that all of my feeds have a maximum of 20 posts loaded.

examples:

Additionally, one feed is only loading three posts:

Is this a known limitation of the free trial? Are there configuration options when using the paid or self-hosted versions of miniflux which would allow me to view older posts?

I'm very new to RSS and miniflux, apologies for any confusing wording or if I'm asking the wrong questions :). If there's a good primer or relevant information source I may be missing, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

This behavior is expected. Miniflux displays 20 entries because the feed contains only 20 entries.

There are no specific limitations for the free trial apart from the time restriction.

For example, the XML feed for https://emshort.blog/feed has only 3 entries:

Ah, there's the connection I wasn't making. The feed's configuration on the host's side determines which specific posts will be served via RSS, it doesn't just grab all entries that exist on the site. It seems 20 is a common default but I've now seen several with 10 and a few with well over 100.

Before trying out MiniFlux I had been using a local RSS solution and I thought I had been getting the full blog history with that method, but I was probably mistaken.
