Airplay group stops playing (doesn't resume) after an announcement is sent to one of them #3414
-
Before I go through the effort of writing up a bug ticket, I thought I'd check here and make sure my memory/understanding is correct. I've noticed that playback doesn't resume after I send an announcement to one of the players in an Airplay group. For example, assume I have speakers A, B and C and some automation sends (via the TTS service) some phrase to speaker C. Play stops in A, B and C and C makes the announcement as expected, but play doesn't resume when the announcement is finished. If, however, only speaker C is playing, the announcement is made and then play resumes. I could have sworn that this used to work, but I might be wrong and this is a new feature request, instead. |

You need to check here https://music-assistant.io/stable/faq/groups/ Also there are open issues with respect to groups at the moment so check those |

Thank you, very much. Both links are useful. I neglected to mention that I'm using 2.4.0b9 and that (in my example) A is the sync group leader and B and C are joined. This part of the second link suggests that it should work, but I'm not sure.
