I have added netboot.xyz as an entry in my pxelinux.cfg/default and it works perfectly.
The only downside is that the live-OS I select needs to be able to host the whole ISO of the OS in memory.
When booting for example live ubuntu I just get a small subset of the iso loaded into memory as a rw filesystem.
Would it be possible to do something similar when booting from network? My linux-fu is not strong enough for this.
My goal is to have something truly diskless and be able to run on hardware where I don't want to sacrifice aroung 8 GB for just be able to boot the system.
