I am Looking to Learn More about the PolarFire on the BeagleV-Fire and its FPGA #402
-
Hello, So, in conjunction of this board being available from beagleboard.org, I want to learn about VHDL involved programming for the PolarFire SoCs. Has Microchip persons put forth any reading materials dedicated to the specific chips and hopefully surrounding the MPFS025T from Microchip. Seth P.S. Although this may sound like an odd request, I am tracking down and researching avenues of reading materials for this specific SoC and VHDL in combination. |

Hi @silver2row I don't think we have much on writing VHDL (there are a lot of guides on youtube, udemy etc) which would generically apply to Microchip FPGAs. But maybe this will be of use, its the FPGA fabric user guide, you can find a copy here and it details the different resources, configurations and features available in the FPGA :) In terms of the SoC the TRM (technical reference manual) may be of use, its available here. I think you want to do some hardware + software codesign from reading your message, have you had a look at our high level synthesis (HLS) tool? Its called SmartHLS :) |
