New Feature - Autocomplete - Max length

I am using version 3.53 of primevue.
The autocomplete doesn't have innate support for a max length in the prime vue input. You have to do something like this if you want a max length.

 passThroughOptions = {
      input: (options: AutoCompletePassThroughMethodOptions) => {
        return {
          'maxlength': props.maxlength
        }
      }
    }

While this works, I don't see the reason why this couldn't just be an innate feature for the autocomplete.
