Regular Release Package (RPM) Broken for Older RHEL Family OSes? #224
-
Hello All- Since the 1.109 release (includes the recent 1.110) I haven't been able to run the Pulsar regular release from the supplied RPM. It appears builds are now compiled against glibc 2.33 instead of an older version. I'm running AlmaLinux 8.8 (which is based around glibc 2.28) and when I run Pulsar 109/110 no GUI/window appears and I receive the following error:
In any case, that's what I'm assuming changed with 1.109 and any assistance in looking at this is greatly appreciated. Apologies if I missed something obvious. |

Yes this is something we are aware of, but of course thanks a ton for contributing and reporting the issue! I'd recommend checking out the other issues posted for this behavior for better insight into what happened, and what we are doing to resolve it: We are really hoping to go ahead and find a solution to this soon, feel free to add more details over in 733 so that we can try to keep all relevant information close together, thanks! |
