Fixed time programs

In Germany you can start a group in green.
Some countries start form yellow flash, not dark
Traffic mode is not needed for signal group, but could be useful for documentation.

Workflows

A common file format can be the basic of new workflows that make it easier for authorities to work with signal programming, and will enable the use of tools from different vendors to interact. Tools can include things like editors, validator, simulator, and versioning:

Loading

Work typically starts with some kind of traffic design that is based on the topology and situation in the intersection. The traffic design leads to both a static configuration that changes only when topology changes, and one or more signal programs that can be modified when needed.
