Activity Plan

Informed about recent approval of a new activity plan by the steering group. There's an activity for RSMP 4.

MQTT Experience

Technolution have very good experience with with MQTT stability securitt, authoritization.

RMSP 4 concepts.

Current site id's might include characters that are illegal as MQTT topics, like +.

Acknowledgements

RSMP 3 is based on TCP, which has acknowledgements. But RSMP also has acknowledgements, as an additional safety.
MessageAck is probably not needed if we based RSMP 4 on MQTT.
MessageNotAck is send when error occur, and this might still be needed in some form.

Knowing which topics you can publish to?

We want to split SXL into smaller modules that are easier to reuse. And we need easy way to inform/learn about which modules are supported.
This is also a policy question: do we require suppliers to implement everything, some modules or just the parts they want.

Version negotiation

How would it work? There's no direct negotiation between site and supervisor. And different supervisors might support different version.
Would a site have to publish several time in different versions? We want to avoid that.
We also need a mechanism to ensure updates of software in site/supervisor can happen at different times.
Version is important and we will need to look more into this.
