Hardware Serial Wakeup not working on lora-e5-mini

Unable to get Serial to wakeup device from deepsleep
Tried using the Serial Wakeup example.
Device goes into deepsleep but does not wake up on serial recieve. Tried the normal Serial.read() script to verify the functionality of uart, that's working fine.
Device : Lora-E5-Mini
