Sherlock is a great tool but contacting developers on social networks and messengers can be considered abuse.

Data enrichment tools can be used to getusers email addresses.

Tagging a user in the GitHub issue comment is a great approach for the Bounty-Developer matchmaking.

What if use not only issues but also GitHub PRs?

• Mention of appropriate developers in a blank PR that is automatically opened to the issue - an alternative to tagging in the issue comment
• Request a review of appropriate developers - an additional method that makes possible to invite several new developers
• Create a PR for their pet project with the proposal to join the DevPool to solve the particular issue

What if we organize an airdrop where only GitHub accounts with good experience in Open Source contribution are eligible to claim?
For example, the larger experience of the user, the more tokens in the airdrop for this user.

An airdrop can have additional requirements.
For example,

• The amount of the airdrop depends on the developer level that we define based on the developer's GitHub activity:

Emails

Sending emails is a common approach.
Some developers publish their email addresses in the GitHub profile.

How to get developer’s email on GitHub that was not published in the profile:

1. From commits

• find a non-forked repository
• find commits by the user and click its ID
• add “patch” after you have ended up on the commit’s ID
• look through commit information and you will be able to see the author and their emails

2. From API

• Find email addresses with GitHub’s API by hitting CTRL+F and searching for “email” in the Commit of public repositories or in a user’s recent events.

What if we

1. Send the email with the proposal to solve a particular bounty simultaneously with tagging in the GitHub issue to all the developer email address that we found.

2. Use an Email cold outreach tool with 3-5 emails containing interesting information and a proposal to join the DevPool.

• Experiment with relatively cheap content marketing ads, youtube ads, etc
