"donations" of hardware

Is it within the remit of this site to handle donations of hardware at https://welcome.openstreetmap.org/how-to-give-back/#what-other-ways-can-we-contribute ?

I ask because (with a DWG hat on) I've just seen an email from someone who might want to do that. I know that the OWG have info on this (somewhere) - should this site send them there?

Searches such as "infrastructure site:https://welcome.openstreetmap.org" and "hardware site:https://welcome.openstreetmap.org" mainly suggest cash donations.

That's a question for the OWG -- do you have a link on what they're looking for? I don't believe we take direct hardware donations, but there is certainly a practice of setting of tile mirrors.

And yes, I did mean donations of in the sense of a hosted tile server, not a piece of tin that someone has to go and collect :)
