Research Open Source License

Please research the different License options available to open source this project. Additionally, Please create a pros and cons list that aligns with the requirements for the Licensing requirements needed by Orcas Project.

Requirements
Since this is my first time being part of a program design, I wanted to check on procedure. We’d like to be able to share the code with other partners to use at some point (for free), but we do want them to credit OSU with the development. I think. Is this a situation where we want to pursue an IP or some other form of ownership?
