Auto-sorting and filtering tables in combination with auto-refreshing stati

Because of the target filter, I had to remove the previously available auto-refresh on index pages.
--> I want to have this feature back...

To be discussed:

• I do not like the current filter drop down with refresh button. Are there better solutions with filtering, auto-sorting and allowing for automatically reloading? See e.g.

    • e.g. datagrid seems to be a good candidate
• In the moment, the filtering is done with a variable like follows: https://host:port/customers?target_id=1
  • In earlier versions, I have done filtering like follows: https://host:port/targets/1/customers
    This might be better to be handled in auto-refresh situations, since the URI is performing the filtering and I do not need to retrieve and re-apply the filtered. However, it is not as flexible as the ?target_id=1, because I need to change the routing accordingly and I cannot easily combine search criteria.
