The attack is ongoing at this time. Randomly generated Usernames and short random character messages. In 24 hours, thousands of new user joins and each sending one message.

I'm not sure exactly what else to report. As far as I'm aware, there is currently no known method of dealing with such abuse.

Forwarding this message someone sent me:

I quickly made the script like two weeks ago (first attempt at session scripting), shows how broken the app really is. The official Session groups became read only that same evening. One issue is spam accounts don't get registered by groups for some reason, if you fix this no group would resist, just generate the accounts in advance, join the targeted groups, save the seeds and use them 24h later or whatever. That's on you suckers for siding with censorship.
