how to enable different runtime modes

I am interested in running hipBone in CUDA mode, but when I attempt to do so, I get the following error:
[CUDA] mode is not enabled, defaulting to [Serial] mode
I assume I missed something during the build process. How do I build this code to enable CUDA?
