CCNx NS3 Project Governance

This page will describe how this open source project is run, and in specific how people can participate and make contributions.

For the immediate future, the project falls under the so-called benevolent dictatorship of PARC (in general) and Marc Mosko (in specific). This will change once we have our contributors rules worked out. However, regardless of the governance model, it should always be the case that this code follows the ICNRG standards on CCNx. Our policy is that those documents govern the functionality of the code, not the other way around. We identify source modules that fall under the ICNRG standards with the word "Standard" as part of the module name, for example class CCNxStandardFib in ccnx-standard-fib.h.
