Hi, Firstly thanks to everyone out there that makes this site such a mine of information.
I'm getting back to flying helicopters after what must be a 20 year break, - can't believe how much things have evolved.
I'm trying to fit DIY module to one of my old but relatively unused 35mhz transmitters. I believe the operating voltage is from 5 to 14v.
The TX is providing 8.0v until the module is connected (soldered) when I'm only getting 3.2v and nothing happens........
I realise this is undoubtedly an incredibly basic question, but electonics and prgramming are not my thing. I have managed to check
everything out using a USB lead to a computer, and everything looks fine. Is this voltage drop a normal thing (although I fear not)
and any ideas for solving the issue? The module is YRFM_ARM_V1.4. Any advice more than welcome - I've been trying to get it up and running for a couple of weeks.
