Hi i've been trying to get any data from either the Cameras or the Cloud Key but nothing seeams to work.
I always get a Connection refused or a SSHKeyLocation option is not set error. I've tried every Password combination and at the Cloud Key every SSH option is enabled so i can't think of any reason why it won't work. Especially since the AP and the Switches work without any Problems.

Is there anything other to do when setting up Cameras than AP. Othen that using another Template?

Hi Erik:

  • For the cameras, there's definitely a setup to go through..

{$PROTECT_CAMERA_PASSWORD}

Set this to your cameras' password. There's UI in the protect controller to set this on all cameras at once.

You will also need to enable SSH for cameras, the instructions are at:

https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015877853-UniFi-Protect-Enabling-Camera-SSH-Access

  • For the Cloud Keys, it shouldn't really be any different than the switches or the APs.. Can you elaborate on exactly what is failing? Have you tried from the command line?
