application does not respect QApplication.cursorFlashTime

I have set a cursorFlashTime of 0 (don't blink) using the Qt 5 Settings tool but this has no effect (presumably because you bundle your own Qt 5 libraries).

I know I could build from source but I think having a configuration option in the GUI "[X] Blinking text cursor" defaulting to on would be useful for those of us who can't work with cursor blink. (See https://jurta.org/en/prog/noblink )

I'm using Debian Linux.
